Who operates BuyShare

BuyShare is operated by HorizonSail in the United States. For privacy or support questions, contact buyshare@horizonsail.app.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we store your name, email address, a password credential if you use email sign-in, email verification status, and session information. A session can include an IP address and browser user agent. We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language.

When you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image if provided. Our authentication system may store OAuth tokens in your linked account record. We use this information only to create or access your BuyShare account and do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, or other Google content.

When you create a pause, we store the item, price and currency, reason, optional product URL, timing, your decisions, and any private reflection. If you share a pause, we record the share link and friends’ buy/skip/wait opinions. We use a browser identifier and limited request data to reduce duplicate votes and abuse.

How information is used and shared

We use account data for sign-in, verification, password recovery, and account support; pause data to provide your private workspace; and request data to keep the service working and limit abuse. We do not sell Google sign-in data or use it for advertising.

BuyShare runs on Cloudflare Workers, D1, and KV. Resend processes recipient addresses and the account emails it sends. Google processes the sign-in you choose. These providers receive information necessary for their services. If you make a sharing link, anyone with the link can see the item, price, reason, and pause status and submit an opinion. The shared page does not expose your account identity, product URL, or private reflection. Recipients may copy content they can see.

Storage, deletion, and choices

Your account and pauses remain in the active database until you delete them or ask us to help. You can delete an individual pause or your account in the app. Deleting an account removes its active account and related pause records; revoked or deleted sharing links stop working. Provider backups and operational logs may retain copies for their own retention periods, which we do not represent as immediate deletion.

You can stop using Google sign-in and revoke BuyShare access in your Google account settings. Contact buyshare@horizonsail.app to request access, correction, or deletion help. We may update this notice as the service changes and will show the updated date here.
